I have tried to post links to other discussions. I can not seem to get it right. Please help me out. I want to know how to post a link that would refer a person to another discussion.

hey, friend, it's very simple, all you have to do is copy the link and then paste it here and the link should be starting with http:// like here is the link to my blog http://getpaidfromsites.blogspot.com

Thanx Gabs, I think that sounds like the most reasonable answer. It was right in front of me and didn't realize it. Best response to you! Thanx again! Peace, Totty

I can respond to this discussion only from my email, because I can not see other responds. You have to open discussion you want to link to and copy website address starting with http:// than you just past it on any respond page. Sorry if I repeat anyone, but I can not see other responds.

Just be careful about how you do this. It's against guidelines to start discussions to bring attention to other discussions as their only purpose. I'm assuming his means not to start a discussion trying to get responses on your own discussions or a friend's discussion. But I THINK if you want to post the link because it gives more information on the topic being discussed then that's acceptable.

yes I know about the guidelines. I don't want to quote the whole conversation, but use a link so a person can go there and see. I'm not one for breaking rules. I see a lot of people doing this and it is acceptable they way they do it I just want to know how to accomplish this task.

What browser are you using Totty? Go to the search area of your browser. Copy the name of the sit you are wanting. You can do this by highlight the address and press the ctrl & C button at the same time. Then go to the post where you want it and paste it at appropriate place. You can paste by pressing CTRL and the D buttons at the same time. This should work my friend.
