One Summer when I was in high school I worked as a night clerk in a motel. My hours were 11 pm to 7 am. It was mostly very slow, but the owner didn't want me to sleep, so I did a lot of reading. Briefly between high school and college I worked as a bagger in store similar to Walmart, but it wasn't a Walmart. In just days I knew the prices of most of the common items better than my friend who had been there longer and was a cashier. My other jobs while in school were either as a researcher on a professor's grant or as a lab instructor.

in my college days, when i was first year collge, i work for Jollibee as a service crew, my scheddule is commonly on evening shift around 5 p.m. untill 11 p.m. and i usually go to school around seven'o'clock. there were times i went home very late because of some gimicks or outings with my co-workers, and i feel very tired when i'm in school, so if their is a free time, i take a nap so i could regain my strenght and usually i ate up so much food for my energy. when i was at third year college and it was summer, i work for a department store, my shift is usually in morning 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. i enjoy working at the department store because it doesn't take me so much of my energy.

When I was a student, I worked in the library shelving books. Then they put me keeping tract of signing out and in reference materials from Professors. Then I worked in the Media Center, copying tapes by permission from the publishers for a certain number of copies. I also signed out language tapes and helped people learn how to use the machines to listen, respond, and listen to the original and their responses. That's what I did for work-study at my college. It was only a few hours a week, but it really helped me out financially and gave me experiences I wouldn't have had without taking the job.
