toasting marshmellows over burning rubber tires. Oh! The fond memories of my youth. What are yours? Fond memories, I mean.

Didnt the burning rubber make the marshmallows taste funny? I guess i would say fishing trips that would turn into swimming trips after we never caught a darn thing.

Didn't the marshmallows taste like burning rubber? I remember eating fresh fish my dad caught and mother fried over a campfire, along with sliced potatoes and onions. A lot of my memories involve food! We had a lot on a river where we would camp out and Dad would fish. I used to swing on grape vines out over the river and drop in. We had a lot of fun there.

I would say taking Tylenol PM before I left for school, when I got home from school, and right before I went to bed. Why are they fond memories? Because I don't remember ANYthing.

when i was young my dad worked for the government and worked from 6 am until 2 pm, so during the summer, my mom had a picnic supper all ready to go and when my dad got home from work, he would change and we would head out to our local swimming hole. my dad would sleep, mom would read and i would swim. we did that almost every day during the summer!
