Do you love rainbows? I love to view rainbows. It reminds me that there is hope, there is really hope... How are rainbows formed? Sunlight is composed of light of varying wavelengths. Short wavelength light appears blue, violet and indigo, and long wavelength light appears red, orange and yellow. When sunlight enters a raindrop in the air, the light splits into a multitude of colors. This light then reflects off the back of the raindrop and re-emerges in the direction in which the light first entered. The light emerging from many raindrops creates a rainbow. Read on for a more detailed explanation. (http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~farid/sciencekids/rainbow.html) This link clearly explains facts about rainbows...

Rainbows are really beautiful, I like them not just for their colors but because we see them only on rare occasions. There are so many fairy stories associated with rainbows like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. As a child I always wondered where was the end of the rainbow?

There's a scientific explanation of a rainbow but they did not exist until GOD decided they would be OUR ray of hope. They were placed there so that every time we see one GOD is telling us that HE will NEVER destroy the Earth again with water. That HOPE you feel inside was instinctively instilled there by our precious Lord. And in all the beauty it remits just think that in comparison to what is to come - that is only a taste of the beauty to be.

yup! i always love viewing rainbow. when i see a rainbow, i always thought that there's always a hope as what you have said.. in every dark clouds up in the sky, there's always a rainbow right after it and the dark clouds/rain symbolizes our problems, the hesitations, struggles and the rainbow symbolizes our hope, the brighter side of our days..

I absolutely love rainbows. Since when I was a kid up until now I used to look up to the sky after a rain to find a rainbow. It is nice to see it.

I think rainbows can look really nice, especially if you have a good vantage point from which to view them. Often you'll see two together, one very striking and colourful and a second that's a little dimmer. It's great when they form and you have a very dark menacing sky in the background and sunny sky in the foreground.

Definitely, I love rainbows...they bring the child in me whenever I see one...the colors composed of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet are harmonizing and looks so peaceful...for me, the colors represent those areas in my life which I need to balance in order to live an effective, balanced life. Rainbows remind me that God paints these colors in the sky to remind us of His mighty power. They look so lovely I feel wonderful whenever I see them in the skies....

I love rainbows. Our house is facing Mount Makiling. Every morning when it rains the night before a rainbow will appear on top of the mountain a littel above the rising sum. It's the most beautiful sight it will put a smile on your face and there's a promise of a good and nice day ahead. :)

I taste to see the rainbows, is pretty! A rainbow (also called arc-celestial, arc-of - alliance, arc-of - raian or aec-of - the old one) is an optic phenomenon and meteorological that separets the light og the sun is its specter (approximately) continuous when the sun shines on rain drops. It is an arc multicolored with the red in its exterior and the violet in its interior; the complete sequence is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
