Have you tried eating peanuts with ketsup?

As far as I can remember its one of the sreet foods thats I love eating while on my way home walking our way home. Its one among mangoes, papayas junk foods and many to mention.
I just love the hot sauce with roasted peanuts its the best and yummy, sometimes when theres too much hot sauce I can imagine my lips red and very painful because of too much hot sauce.
Have you tried eating this combination?

Hi Zelmarq! I have never tried this one! :) Usually, when I eat peanuts, they are just plain peanuts - there are those that are salty and those that are also sugar-coated. But I never tried eating them with ketsup! *hehe*

I do not like hot sauce so I have not tried hot sauce with peanuts.

Never have I considere peanuts with catsup. Really? That's weird and I think of myself as weird when it comes to food. Avocado and rice comes to mind. But I will tip my hat to you Zelmarq, you are WEIRDER than me, hehehehhe..... cheers!

Wow! you're making me remember my elementary & high school years! LOL!. Oh yes! i've tried eating peanuts w/ ketchup...one of my fave snacks during recess at school! hahahahaha.. or when i'm sleepy during classes, i'll have them and the hot sauce burning my mouth keeps me awake! LOL!! But i haven't tried it like ages ago, well, now that you mentioned it..maybe i will eat one ! hehehehe.. tnx for reminding !

Hehehehehe, I know you sound like you are from the Philippines coz I know for sure thats our lifestyle here, I dont know with other western and first world countries. I am eating the all time favorite now thats why I have remembered posting here.

I've had spicy peanuts before, but have never tried them with ketchup. Maybe will have to try them, since I like trying out different foods. Although I may get strange looks from my husband...lol He's not big on peanuts or even ketchup for that matter, so he would think it weird to be combining the two.

Any will do, as long as its roasted with salt and with hot sauce ketchup. Its really good.

No Zelmarq!!I havent try..I eat roasted peanuts with chilli poweder and little salt added often.Well i will have a try that combination.At home we cook peanuts then add green chilli ,salt,ginger gralic paste and roasted them with oil.This is very good food on evenings .

I have never tried eating peanuts with ketchup. But I have eaten some other street eating stuff like fish and taro and some other fried stuff. They taste good, but after eating, I will have a sore throat. Sometimes I just cannot resist the temptation.

nope. that's a new concoction as far as i know. we eat peanuts with salt or just plain, or roasted with honey. sometimes with sesame. but nuts and sauce is new to me! how do you pick it up afterwards? with your hands and it's all runny over your hands?

No certainly not, I have been eating this combination since I was in highschool and that was 15 years ago. Maybe it sounds new to you, but here in the Philippines its already history. Theres a special plastic for this kind and you dont have to worry getting hands dirty after eating it.

I can honestly say that I have never tried that. But I do like to dip my potato chips in ketchup. I am not real fond of hot sauce.

no. i don't eat peanuts with ketchup.. it sounds new to me.. how does it taste? i guess, i have to try it myself.. we have peanuts here right now.. hehehe.. let me try it.. anyway, i eat peanut when it's boiled... but i don't eat peanuts very often coz it makes my face oily..

Well its not that messy, Im using a small spoon for that and when in the school they put it some small plastic so that it wont get so messy, peanuts and ketshup all together. Its really yummy you can try it.
