My bother once had a dog, a Siberian Hasky. He was still small when his friend presented him. But after sometimes rasing it, he started to bite his kids till left bums. It happened so many times. And since it couldnt be tame so my brother gave it to his friend. Have you ever been bitten or hurt by your own pet? Do you still keep it?

Well me and animals have this understanding, they don't bite me and I will not bite them. LOL. I have never been bitten by any animal other then insects. My lover on the other had was bitten by my 13 foot Python. I told him not to stick his hand in her tank when she was shedding and he did not listen to me. I had to take a stick and put it in her mouth to let go. Don't worry, pythons do not have poision. I just hurts like 'well' you know. He did have to goto the hospital due to the fact that she eats chicken. He did bleed alittle. But you know it was not the snake's fault that he stuck his hand in the tank when he was told not to. I stall take her out once a week and place her in a tub of water so that she can swim around. I will post some pictures later of her.

Wow, you have a nice pet. I think I wont keep a snake as a pet. Not becoz I am scared but I really dont like snakes. I wont think they are cute animals, lol. Yeah, we should understand that there is time when we cant disturb animals. They will get mad and bite. Its not her fault. But I hope your lover was fine.

Yes I have a dog which is actually my son's dog and he likes to bite when he plays.. I am not sure why that is.. I think he thinks it's rough time.. I have never played rough with him nore has anyone else.. I don't know how to get him out of that habit either.. I mean if someone comes over (friends) that play with him he tries to do the same to them until I say no and he backs way off but when I say no it don't faze him... I don't get it..

We used to have a dog and before we got him he was trained as a guard dog. When the kids would have an arguement with each other, if one hit the other, the dog would gently bite the one that did the hitting. We ended up giving him away because we were scared that he would go to far one day and bite really hard.

That's so scary. Most of guard dog trainned like this. But I think they will train dogs to differentiate between his family and other person. Its a good thing to send him away anyway, just prevent that things happened

Oh, that must hurt. I hope you will just fine. Have you ever been bitten seriously. I mean, your pet became fierce and just bit you without reason?

Hi, yes i have been bittne but not seriously in a playway way. I have always had dogs as pets ever since i was a kid and i know them rather well now and i know that therei s something bothering them, that maybe a reason for their biting nature, if ever they do bite, and i wonder why the dog you mentioned continued doing so, maybe he was not treated well by the owners, as this also happned at times if they are always tied up or kept out doors and treated as guard dogs and left out of the immediate family, they behave and act like this, other wise i see no reason for them to act like this.

Off course, my brother treated his dog well. At first he never tied it so it could go all over the house. My sis in law always fed and bathe it everyday. But I dont know it always bit his kids. There were actually 2 dogs on the house. The other was belong to my other brother and it was tied up and caged. But it always behaved good. He never bitten any of the member.

None of my dogs have ever bitten a person. If any one of my dogs bit someone unprovoked, they'd be gone in a heartbeat.

of course, ever since we already have pets at home, so i guess being bitten by your own pet is part of having them. we train our dogs to be disciplined, and for them to know who are their owners..

I was never bitten on purpose by my own pets. I did get a nice bite trying to break up a dog fight, and it happened to be my dog's tooth that did it. But she didn't bite me, I just happened to get in the way when i was trying to separate her from another dog. I acually don't have her anymore, because I had 4 other dogs at the time, and she started to pick fights with our other dogs, too. So I found her a wonderful home with a half-acre yard and a stay home wife - with no children and no other pets so she could be calm and happy.

i think your brother really had a bad luck, because i have kept many dogs and things like you said never happen to me. i think there may be some reasons you don't know. i always believe dogs are close friends to human beings and they are very loyal to their owners. so never give up your pet, tread them just like your babies.
