Deacon or Demon

Well, is not ok when things, like the one you just described, happen. It makes you loose a bit of faith in the next human being you were trusting more than others... But than again, according to me the fact that one is a deacon, or a priest - doesnt make him a "perfect" human being. You, me, and everyone would expect from such people that they'll be better than the rest of us - because by renouncing the pleasures and sins in life - we might think they are more elevated than the rest of us, but they mostly are not. And if it was me, I will try to be less judgemental (difficult thing for me really :)), and take their words with a bit of salt from there on, while remembering that he, they, and all of us try daily to make themselves a better human being, and closer to God...

That's such a shame, here he is in a position to be trusted, and be a good example, and he's abusing that privilege! Have you mentioned this to the pastor? It doesn't seem quite right that somebody who is willing to lie should be allowed to be at the head of the flock! What kind of example is he setting for the good of the church?!
