 I had one once when they first came out with them. I really loved it right up until it malfunctioned. Shortly after my experience, there was a mass recall on that brand and make because the malfuntion made them a fire hazard. I know when mine had the problem it scared the beejeebies out of me lol.  I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we women are more prone to keep tabs on our symptoms and get them checked out. For instance, my Dad used to always have to be begged to go to the Dr, even when he had pneumonia a couple of times.
