I make things with materials I could throw out. I like recycled crafts the best. I especially like gifts. What kind of crafts do you make?

Beaded baskets and stained glass sound beautiful. I also love mosaics. Iris folding cards, not sure what they are. Jewelry, I'm really not into, but I do like to watch other people do it and to look at jewelry. That's 5 kinds of crafts. You must be busy and talented.

It also pays to be an advanced art student so that why I get to choose what I do in class. And also I am good friends with the teacher so she give me more freedom.

Over the years I have dabbled in many crafts, from teddy Bear making, felt toys, jewellery making, paper tole, drape sculptures, card making, and some I can't even remember but since I got my computer the only things I do now is make a few cards. Its good that you can do a craft and recycle things at the same time, I tried patchworking once but I wasn't very good at it.

Those all sound like fun. Teddy bear making, is it hard? It looks like it might be. Some of my recycled crafts aren't very good, but some are. The ones that aren't very good are still useful. Drape sculputrues, not sure what that is. I hope you will take time to make something soon. Yes, these penny sites are addicting, but exercise and other hobbies are important, too. Thank you for posting.

I crochet. I love doing this as it keeps me from eating while watching TV. I usually give away whatever I make - afghans, stockings, dish cloths... My family loves it!

Yes, a competing activity, can't eat if your hands are busy crocheting! I think crocheting and knitting are cool like that, so many useful things you can make and always have presents. I have some relatives who can do that and we all love it, too. Take care

How I envy you! I love teaching crafts to kids, as long as the class is a small number like 8 or less. Too large and it gets too hard, esp. with the real little ones. What kind of religious symbols do you have the kids make or do they listen to a story and make their own recreation of the key elements or things they remember or liked in the story?

I like to do wood crafts, the precut ones that I paint and add embellishments to. I also like to recycle old bottles, cups, plates, anything that I can glue flowers to or decoupage. I don't sell many things, but I like to make gifts for birthdays, weddings, and baby showers.

My brother's girlfriend likes to paint and embellish wood cut-outs that my brother makes. I love recycling ideas. I even have a few ideas that I wrote at Helium. My Mother was a big fan of decoupage and she made many gifts for people with them. Esp. wedding announcements on plaques. Thank you for responding.

I am very stupid and I can't make any craft. I think you must be a clever man. Can you tell me what kind of craft you have made by now?

I enjoy crocheting, making ornaments. I tried making jewelry, but was not pleased with the way the earrings turned out but I am going to try again. Right now, I am working on a couple of hats and scarf so I can sell them when it gets colder.

I wish I could crochet. I've tried and I'm terrible at it. Yes, jewelry making can be hard, but if you really enjoy/love it, keep trying. Hats and scarfs sell well in my area, too.

You make baskets and caps. What materials do you use? Does it take a long time? Do you give the craft away as gifts or use it yourself?

I love to do all kinds of arts and crafts. I make jewelry, sculpt, make beads from polymer clay, crochet, make my own lotions and cosmetics, sing in a band, play several musical instruments, paint, sketch, sew, design webpages, create computer art, make my own soaps ... that's all I can think of at the moment. I love to be as creative as possible. Not that I'm good at doing all of the above but I do my best and have fun with it.

Sounds like you are an artist. I'd like to be able to try all kinds of things like that. I think making my own lotions and cosmetics would be cool. I went to a class once on that and I have some books on it, too. But I haven't done much with it. Probably because I don't to much with cometics and lotions anyway. Soaps--I have very sensitive skin, DOVE is about all I can use. Computer art sound like fun. Several musical instruments, wow! You sound like a person who is into the arts and very diversified. Thank you for posting. Take care
