Do you make or buy Halloween Costumes?

I love to make my son's Halloween costumes. When I was a kid, my mom always made our costumes. It was nice not having the same thing as everyone else, even if we were dressed as the same thing. So I make my son's costume every year. So far he's been a scarecrow (twice), a baseball player, a devil and Tigger. I haven't decided what he's going to be this year.

I actually just buy the halloween costumes for my kids. I don't really have the time to make them. Some of the costumes are just cheap enough. Last halloween, my 11-year old actually improvised on his halloween costume. He used the bought costume, which was just a soldier, and he made changes to it to make himself like a zombie soldier. He was talking about how he liked changing his costume so much that he said he will just make it for this year.
