What's Your Opinion of Jimmy Carter?

I have always been a great admirer of former US President Jimmy Carter. His work with Habitat for Humanity is known worldwide. He is also a man who seeks to bring peace to the world. I read recently that he has been named to a group known as The Elders, which also includes former South African President Nelson Mandela.

I honestly don't know a ton about him, especially when he was our President as I just a little kid back then.
But what I have seen of him now that I'm adult I like. He seems like a very nice man who supports good causes, such as Habitat For Humanity, and is very kind. He seems like the kind of guy you could sit with on a porch swing drinking lemonade and have a good conversation with. And probably learn a lot from. I like him.
