What preoccupies you the most?

What distracts you from the task at hand? What keeps you awake at night? What are the things that keep you from being able to focus? For me, it's often concerns for the future - that I'd like to be able to be a stay home mom, but I don't think we can afford it. I get distracted by how much I hate my job and wish I didn't have to have it anymore. What distracts you?

I just got a new boyfriend and he occupies my mind all the time. Whatever I am doing, wherever I am, he's always in my mind. But we are thousands of miles away from each other right now and that's what distracts me most of the time. I am always looking forward to the day we would be together and not part. Sometimes though I get distracted by the discussions here on myLot LOL! How I can boost my earnings online so I don't have to work anymore outside my home. I want to be my own boss.

That's sweet. I know the feeling of being overcome by your significant other and thinking about him all the time. I'm married now... so he doesn't distract me all the time anymore. BUt he did once...

The only things that distracts me and doesn't let me focus are the kids!I'm thinking about them all the time (even in my sleep).

I have so many work to do and until now I can't complete them all in one day. Everyday i list too many things to get done but I only managed to do half of them, and sometimes just a quarter of them. Now I have been thinking that I put a target too high too achieve and I have wasted my energy to try and do all the tasks. It is impossible to do it all, so I learned to focus on what is the most important task. I will do it first, and then do other tasks which is also important but is ranked number two, three, four, fifth and so on. After I have managed this schedule, I think I am more happy now and I feel not very distracted anymore. I can focus clearer and thank God for opening my mind about managing priorities.

being able to multi-task and manage priorities is pretty important. Those are great skills to have.
