I also think the most memorable time i spent with my family was when we went vacationing during my school's summer vacations. We used to spend quality time together wherever we went. Also, we used to go for movies and shopping every now and then, and we used to thoroughly enjoy our time together. I really miss all that as now we don't get that amount of time together, since I am on a job, dad's in his business, my elder brother is also busy with his own job. My mom is left at home. But whenever i get time to come home, i make sure i spend time with all of them, as i m stationed outside for the job...

The fondest and unforgetable childhood memory is the experience of catching fish in the ponds nearby the abandoned mining area few miles away from my home. There ponds with tropical fish of many varieties. Besides, you can find prawns and crabs too, occasionally. I used to went there with friends or with my parents, on bicycles. They are nature lovers as well. We used to having good times chatting and enjoying the afternoon breeze or watching the sunset. But unfortunately, the 'playground' is diminishing, due to the development in that area. All the ponds and its fishes had disappeared over the years. I am sad to know that when I went back to my home town (I am currently working in another state) and feel that kids nowadays lost the chance of experiencing the fun of exploring in the wilderness.

Mine has to be being with my mum every day and receiving her 'squeezey cuddles' which I would constantly ask for. She would tuck me up tight in bed everynight and read me a story, cook me lovely food and was always there for me. So many kids nowadays have to be seperated from their mums due to work, so I know I was very lucky to have a mum who was always there, this is definately my fondest memories.

As a child, I haven't gone to vacation because it is not common here in Africa, and also cos of the money that one has to pay in order to go for such vacations. Mine was the love my parents gave to me and when I used to play with my friends. Thanks

when we were kids my grandfather used to take all of his kids and grandkids to a small amusement park. we'd get to ride the rides with our cousins and spend time with our aunts and uncles. we'd have a picnic lunch together and then ride more rides. it was a nice family tradition.
