Girls vs Guys: Hooking Up

Why is it that a guy can hook up with a bunch of girls and everyone thinks he's so cool because of it, but when a girl hooks up with a bunch of guys she's automatically considered to be loose? It's completely sexist. But what do you think???

Basically its the fact that hipocracy rules this world. Men can have a multitude of women with out any actuall reprecusions, but when a woman has slept with a few men, she becomes a harlot... that is the way that men keep women down and take control.... or in other words its a double standard.. women being held to an unworthy symatry..

For men its a show of their potency and for when its a show of lack or restraint. When in fact the men are the ones that cannot control their impulses and women are just attempting to make a connection with men.
It may be a generalisation, but it proves real with a major portion of our society...

It's completely unfair. These days though a woman doesn't even have to sleep with a man to be considered loose. She could just be kissing them or even flirting but she's automatically a harlot. But yet a man gets all the glory in the world if he scores. You're right. It's a double stanard.

I used to ask that question all the time, and it is something that has been going on since the beginning of humans. Men have always been able to have as many women as they want in some cultures and people let it go because "boys will be boys". The men are taught that growing up as well and keep that mentality like they can do and have anything they want. sure it's a double standard and I don't know if women will ever be looked at the same as men.

Ahhhh...so true! It's completely a double-standard. Guys get to show off and brag and a girl is automatically judged if she sleeps around with a few guys. In my opinion, it's disgusting to sleep around anymore. You have no way of knowing what diseases a person might be carrying, so I don't know why people want to sleep around, let alone let everyone know they do.

Yeah I don't think that's fair for us girls. It's so stupid how most guys think it just makes me sick. not only is she considered loose but she's called all types of awful names for doing that.
