Only one week of summer break is left!

We are coming down the home stretch here we only have one week left. I am so not looking forward to two hours of home work a night. It is always so hard to get them motivated at the first part of the year! Is there something you wanted to get done before your kids went back to school that you have yet to do?
For me I wanted to get my front flower bed bigger. I have started on it, but my back got all fired up this summer and I didn't get back to it. I also wanted to refinish my end tables.
Lets see what did I get done this summer and painted and redecorated both my sons rooms. what did you or didn't you get done?

There's 3 weeks left around here. Most of the kids I tutor are starting to prepare for the school year by doing review sheets and extra practice.
I didn't really have any set goals for the summer, so I think I'd just like to get a bit more relaxing in.

I didn't get much done this summer. I was working every day. I did get a vegetable garden planted at the beginning of the summer and am excited about that. We still have 3 weeks left before the kids get back to school. I look forward to the routine that comes with it. It is hard to get into the routine, but once into it...life is much easier.
The homework thing is always horible around here too.

CJ starts school on 17th. He's excited about returning.
I managed to paint our living room before going on vacation and then, when we returned I painted his room.
At least I got something done this summer; not as much as I'd have liked to but it's better than nothing, I guess.

All I wanted to do was go on our trip and we did. Now I can't wait for the little heathens to start school. They go back at the end of this month. Maybe once they are back in school, I will actually start getting some sleep again. They decide to wake me up throughout the day arguing. So not nice....lol

In China, graduate student donot have summer vacation. Though the summer vacation has already past one month, I still stay at school and cannot go home. In fact, we learn little now, but our boss just donnot let we go home. I miss my parents very much now. what's more, the food is very hard to eat. I feel I am much thinner than before. I wish I can go home as soon as possible.

summer is almost gone! i even haven't seen all of my familiy members this summer. my brother always has much to do,and this time he have left words that he was busy.ohh``why always busy? i really want to see you, brother? what a pity for not seeing your face during my summer vocation? i'll be back very soon!
