I had a cat with a strange habit.

This cat was the cutest kitten ever. He was all black, with amazing green eyes and his fur was so soft.
But he had a terrible habit. He just loved cockroaches. Yuck! He would hunt them and eat them. At our house we knew about his habit so we never grabbed him.
Our neighbor asked us to give the cat to a friend of hers. We said no.
The next day the cat disappeared.
I hope the person who took him just gave him a kiss in the mouth.

I'm so sorry he was stolen!! I had a cat that would use the toilet.She couldn't flush though.

This is really a cute cat of yours who loves to chase and eat cockroaches. It sounds weird to me. I would like to have a nice cat like yours, so funny. But I am sorry for the loss of your cat. Could it be now with the friend of your friend's who asked you to send it to? I hope the cat will come back to your house soon.

Sorry to hear that he was catnappped.
From a cat's viewpoint, it is not a strange habit (eating bananas on the other hand is strange to a cat--they, the cats, have no idea how us humans can stick that fruit in our mouths--LOL). Studies of feral cat colonies have shown that cats eat more bugs than they do birds and squirrels. And I don't worry about any flies that get into the house during the summer--they are soon hunted down and ate. Along with the occasional stray spider. One of my cats, Apollo, can leap three feet in the air to catch a fly. It is amusing to watch--wild kingdom in my own living room.

I think that habit would be a good one if you lived in a cockroach area. I'm sorry someone took him. I hope whoever has him is good and kind to him. Still, that was a terrible thing to take your kitten. He sounds like he was wonderful. I love to pet soft cats. My cat has a very soft fur coat in the wintertime.
