I am leaving for a 7-night western carribean cruise on Sept.9 on Carnival. My friends and I are having a hard time settling on which shore excursions to partake in. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which ones? We are going to Costa Maya, Belize, Cozumel, and Grand Caymen. Please help...so many choices...not enough time!

I've spent some time in Cozumel, and it's a beautiful small island off the coast of the Yucatan. Directly across the water (easy to get a boat ride across) is the Costa Maya. Not far from there is Tulum, which are Mayan ruins along the coastline (beautiful, and you can go swimming there too, which not many tourists know). Xel-ha is a nice snorkeling and swimming area nearby. I hope that everything will be in good shape considering the hurricane that just went through, although they said it was milder than expected. I would love to go to Belize, but have never been. It's my understanding that there is beautiful rainforest area and of course, great diving and snorkeling. Have a wonderful time...and don't spend all your shore leave shopping!
