Will your Heart beat be normal by the time you click "start discussion"?

After doing a lot of thinking, a great discussion topic hits your mind at last. You'll be confident that the topic you've chosen will be certainly a hit. Ok, you plan the suitable title and also start filling up the details. You write with full devotion and try to make your post very interesting. Also you edit some changes to it. Finally after all editing and erasing, your product is finally ready. Now you are just ONE step away from marketing your HOT STUFF i.e you just need to click that "START DISCUSSION" button. Just by the time you are about to click that "START DISCUSSION" button, what will be your state of mind? Calm and relaxed OR full of tension, fear and anxiety? Will your heart be beating at a normal pace? I can never be calm and relaxed when it comes to posting discussions, i'll be thinking about the consequences most of the times. My heartbeat rate will be high and my ears will be HOT n RED. LOL Also Tell me how you come up with your discussion. You write it instantaneously when you get that particular thought? OR you keep meditating about it for next few days, do some research/ home work and then post it? That's all. Answer all the questions and earn the maximum 0.0001 cent from myLot. God bless.

If it is a very good discussion with lot of expectation and supposed to be a sure winner definitely my neighbors can hear the sound of my heart beat.I'll be on pins.

I am not like that at all. when i open up a discussion usually it's top of mind, whatever comes into mind i thought of posting it, whether it's going to be answered or not and if someones then well,ok. it's like the real world, when you are chatting with friends , you just open your mouth and that's it, why be afraid. and when it comes to answering discussions, it's the same as answering someone 's question and just blurb away.

LOL I have only a couple of times gotten nervous about posting. And that was for very touchy posts. I hardly ever even worry about anything when I post something. I am sure it will get a response or two. sooner or later. I usually just post when I get an idea for something. If I wait I generally don't do it!

I have never really thought about it but im sure you are right,my heart rate probably does go up,Im not sure.My first thoughts are is anyone going to respond to this discussion? Then I ask myself did i make it interesting?I chose my discussions based on something that i would like to hear others views on,and sometime i just need advice...I also feel that my discussions are not very interesting because i do not get hardly any responses..

honestly, I don't think too much about it. If I think of something interesting, have a question about something, or just want to post an observation I'll start a new discussion. But I don't sit with anticipation that somebody will answer or that I'll get a lot of responses. If I do, great. My earnings will likely go up. If I don't, it's somewhat disappointing, but it's no big deal. I've started some discussions that never got a single response. Oh well. I think the day that I start getting anxiety attacks over a discussion I've started is the day that I start taking Mylot way too seriously and need to get off the computer and find a life.

I don't put that much effort into it really. I mean, Half the friends I have on here don't even respond to my discussions even though I respond to most of theirs. I don't take offense to it, whatever. I could. I could say "you don't comment you're off my list" but I only take people off if they don't ever post anything I can relate to. So if I did think long and hard about my discussions I'd be sorely disappointed at the fact that few of my friends would respond. I dont even think to strangers responding, I know I respond to a lot of discussions of those who aren't my friends as well. So I always post assuming a few of my friends will respond and possibly a few others and as long as you get one response, that's good enough for me. I post when the mood strikes. About a subject that also struck. I make sure similar posts haven't been posted and then voila I post. done.

That's right, everybody should be let free to respond to whichever post they want. I have just 1/5 th or 1/6 th of my friends responding to me. Likewise, i'm also not responding to everyone. I'm just picking up those discussions which i can do full justice to.

Sorry but there are way too many more events in my life than are more important to even slightly resemble what you experience when posting a discussion. Thank goodness!

I think you are making it more serious. My heart beat rate goes up, but not upto the level as it would when you sprint or hear a shocking news. LOL It'll be just above normal, it'll be a StageFear like feeling, same bodily reactions, but very less intense. I think its more clear for you now. ROFL!

I don't think that much while posting my discussions.. I just hit the "Start discussion" button just when its time.. It dosen't matter to me whther it wud be a certain hit or not.. I am even content even if I get just a couple of responses.. There are a whole lot of people here, and thinking of a topic that wud suit every1 is quite a difficult task.. U sometimes can do it, but not everytime.. So, I don't worry if I don't get 50-60 responses or maybe more to my post...

Well I'm not really sure. I am not anxious after I post a discussion, nor nervous or anything like that. I just posted something. An opinion, idea, thought etc. I don't expect any strange consequences from my posting and if by any chance it is somewhat controversial then it was done on purpose so it doesn't stress me either:)

I hardly get an idea to start discussion i must admit that, but once i get something in mind,i start writing without wasting a minute as i think that the idea will go out from my brain...lol.May be i do some changes later if i find some part not proper. And same is the case while responding, i write out the reality and don't give a second thought to it.

I don't think I add that much passion to my discussions. I don't make much research, only when it's about a very specific subject (but those are exactly the discussions that don't get many responses). If you look at your previous discussions and analize them, you'll probably realize that the more simple they are, more responses it gets. So, I just relax and write whatever comes to my mind, just like I do when I respond to anyone's discussion. Hence, I've never felt any alterations on my heart beating! :)

Total Stress! - Don't Let Stress Get To You!
I love you too! I have just given you a plus rating for the question! While I never get as emotionally involved in what others may or may not think about the discussions that I start; I do care about the topic matter, the content, the spelling, and punctuation. I am loving that I just came into this topic and see that you have been given several responses for this discussion. The only thing that I might add, dear little sister, is to please lighten the burden on yourself a little bit. It would be horrid to have someone say that poor little I Love You had a heart attack while composing a discussion for MyLot! That would suck!Any topic that I start is something that is dear to my heart. Sometimes I may think of it as I lie awake at night and sometimes it may come to me after reading what's going on in someone else's world or even in the news. The one thing that I consistently forget to do and I have regretted very much in the past is doing research before posting topics. Unfortunately, I have outed my own ignorance on a couple of discussions because of this. Fortunately, the people that have set me straight have all been very kind and not "in your face" kind of people.~Donna

i find myself hanging in between the feelings of nervousness, excitement and anxiety!;) sometimes when i am starting a discussion on which i am almost sure very few will reply i tend to think philosophically but yet there's some hopes lying there secretly that perhaps it wouldn't be the case!;) usually i put lots of thought before starting a discussion and ideas that how i would present it..i think most of us get an idea while typing a discussion whether it's going to get more replies or only a few. but generally i try not to expect too much before (and after too) starting a discussion. it's just that i don't like to have only a single reply to any of my discussions!:)

It is almost a month since I posted any new discussion in mylot. Not because I do not want to, but because I do not have enough time. I have restricted my participation with some responses and comments. Anyway, I don't feel any tension on posting a new discussion, but surely will be a little anxious. In some cases I was under the impression that the discussion will bring many responses, but in reality I got only a few. This anxiousness will always be there.

My heart beats normal even when just replying to a discussion. It is not really that heart pounding for me when starting discussions. I am not afraid or whatsoever that I made mistakes in my grammar and other stuff. For me it is just normal.

It takes me several days to think up a discussion topic. I am somewhat nervous because I am one of thoes people that have discussions out there with no responses. LOL I have even thought of discussion topics and by the time I go to write them down I forget what they are. Good luck I hope you get lots of respones to your discussion.

I usually write down any new topic idea that I get and when I sit down to see my mails I just start the new topic and read the replies. My heart beat does not vary - at I think it does not.
