Hi. I choose to only wear an apron when Im cooking something that may mess my clothing... Usually that would be bread, as it can be a messy job...

An apron is outdated in our fast paced worlds. Back in the 50 & 60's when women did not work, it was expected that they wore an apron to look their utmost best for their working spouses. Now, we blow through the door and jump right into cooking. The days of Ozzie & Harriet are over, the wife is NOT standing at the door with a cold beverage, your slippers and the afternoon paper asking how was your day. It is rush, rush, rush and no time for an apron.

I don't wear one but I wish I could get in the habit of putting one on before I start. I usually only think about it after I've already splattered food on me.

I never wore an apron.I just put a kitchen towel draped over my left shoulder to wipe my fingers on or so.

I have never worn an apron while cooking. I know it is to keep your clothes clean when cooking. But I don't even have an apron

i don't wear apron when cooking too. i'm not just used to it.. it's more comfortable for me if i don't wear apron when cooking. anyway, i'm not in a restaurant or in any food chains for me to wear apron everytime i cook. i just cook at home, so i think it's okay to not wear it...

I don't bother with an apron when I am cooking but I probably should; would save on a lot of clothing stains in the long run.

No, I don't. In fact, I don't even own an apron, except as a part of a costume.
