What is the best to way to stay cool?

I have returned home from a weekend visit to my parents' home, and my Central air unit is not working. I live in a singlewide mobile home, so it is sweltering hot. I have been quite fortunate in the fact that I have not had to endure the heat this summer until now. But my friends be assured that I am sharing the pain today. I guesstimate that the air probably stopped working late Friday night or Saturday before lunch, because it was registering over 100 degrees on the thermostat and 112 on a thermometer hanging on the wall. Whew! I am dripping sweat over my nose as I type now. I have raised all of the windows that have screens (4) and there's is barely a breeze, so I also placed a fan into one of the windows to try to pull in the cooler air from outside, but now I am thinking (after an hour of no relief), maybe I should be pushing the hot air out the window? Any suggestions?

What I do is I drink lots of water to stay cool and hydrated. I also eat lots of ice cream and not only because it keeps me cool. You should also take a long cold shower so it'll cool you down for a while.

Thanks for the suggestion of a cold shower! I guess I am going to have to resort to many today! :-)

take a cool shower to lower your body temperature...a fan will help a little...

Thanks for the suggestion, I was trying to wait until it cools off outside more, so I will less of a chance to just sweat after the shower. :-) I will probably need one before bed too.
