Would you consider having a grass roof if it helped the environment?

In England the government is encouraging people and businesses to consider having grass roofs. These include roofs that actually grow flowers, bushes, shrubs etc on them. They're valuable as garden space for city dwellers, and absorb rain water. They provide habitats for wildlife. They reduce the heat loss from houses and buildings by up to 20o.
