Do you waste your time?how and why?

i try to save as much time as possible in my whole day.wasting time for me means sitting idly and doing nothing that are not going to pay me anything..its not the money only but social awareness,friends,my studies(online course) and many other things from my interests like watching movies,listening to songs which i keep on doing the whole day and i keep myself busy..busy like a bee(my avatar..LOL)do you waste time..how much per day? and why..i waste 1-2 hours a day.you may wonder if you think thats less..but friends i don't consider movies and music or my other interests as time wastage..otherwise it can go to 5 hours..LOL

yes , i think always ,sometimes i ask myself what am i doing on earth,who am i ,where i go ,what i want ?mybay i just repeat what i did yesterday ,no creation,no originalityand no happiness,to be honest, i don'tclearly know about ahat i am seeking ,but i am sure i want to do something meaningful,so i am seeking it now ,want to know about myself and try to make ny dream come ture,

yes you are very actived as can see here. It's good if you have a busy life and you enjoy that. If following your definition, I waste time a lot, everyday I use one hour just sit and do nothing. That's time I'm zen. Just sit and do nothing even thinking (no). But for me it's the great time in a day. After that i can see how good, how relax am I. I can work more, think more after that.

I am to embarrassed and ashamed to tell you just how much time in any given day that I can waste. I wish I were a go getter but I am not. I really enjoy to nothing!

if you enjoy doing nothing..then thats great dear..i asked here for wasting time and not for you are wrong if you waste your time..its your own life you see..if you are happy with that..then its cool..keep enjoying:-P..and no need to feel embarrassed and ashamed here..we all are very similar here..keep smiling always:-)..thanks for sharing your views so honestly..

Hi medstudents4! Time is gold, as the saying goes. And I do believe that. I value time and spend it well. Life is too short so why not enjoy every minute of it. I keep myself busy all day and that makes me feel so productive and there is a sense of self-fulfillment on my part even though the things I do are very simple tasks sometimes. Unfornately, I do. And surprise, surprise, most of my wasted time comes from staying too much on the internet! Well, you can't blame me, there's so much to do on the internet! Networking sites like friendster and myspace, blogging and posting pictures on multiply, blog hopping on xanga, blogspot and livejournal, searching for blog entries on technorati, playing games on andkon and the list goes on. The thing with me is, I need to read everything. I just have to! Hopefully, I'll be able to manage my time more wisely in the future.

hi soulsister_16..i have no reason to blame you as if you enjoy surfing and doing things on net then its good..i also play games online sometimes and i also don't consider wastage of time as i get entertained too..i wish you all the best that you start managing your time soon if you want that..

Yes, I do wast my time a lot. I think everyone do that. That is the only way that one can be relaxed. Wating time like sitting simply dreaming a lot. Dreaming is a good habit i think.

yes Vettriselvan,i agree with you everybody wastes time and it differs only by the duration..some people waste more time while some waste less..you mean day dreaming?well i don't think any habit is bad as long its not causing problems for you..like in your case if you are happy with this habit and its not harming you its good..

I do not watch any TV and I never sit around doing nothing, but I think we all waste time, depending on the definition of wasted time. I try to live by my motto: "So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die."

don't think so for wasting my valuable time, infact i have so much to do that i hardly get any time to waste. I keep myself engaged in lots of creative works.

Yes, i can say that I have been wasting time mostly all the evenings and late afternoon just sitting there in front of the tv. Thats why I have tried doing mylot while just listening to the sound of the tv. At least I amenjoying doing both things. Its better than just watching tv and dont get soemthing out of it.

I am busy as a bee my friend, just like you are. To me, time is the most precious thing in this world. It is the most precious of all our resources.
Although time may be limited but my imagination isn't. My optimism is unbridled. My potential is unlimited. The person I become, the things I know, the friends I make, the influence I have on my world, the things I achieve are therefore limited by just one factor, my use of my time.

Yes, I do think that I waste time. Cooking, eating, going to the grocery store, doing errands, paying bills are a waste of time. I hardly watch any television, or listening to music anymore. I just want to have time to write. I want to get to the point where I can pop out 2 or 3 articles in 2 hours. Yes, that is very ambitious, but other people had done it, so I think I could too.
Wasting time is my most fear.

look, i have a director job at 3 companies. every day i waste some hours of my worktime with waiting for something e.g. to make a print, waiting for email, call back or simple smoking, drink coffee, call my mother, etc.
yes, i sad about wasting time and sometimes i'm angry because i must waste my time about other persons.
But i know what must i do a day (have a daily to-do list) and if i check all OK, than no problem. If i couldn't check all it to OK i must to work at home when i arrive back... but i can't change that.
That's all :)

i am a person who don't like to waste time at all... i always like to do everything fast and efficiently so that i make sure that i had maximise my time in a good way... i also try to do multi-tasking as much as i can... overall, i always try to make good use of the time that God has given to me as i will be accountable to Him when i meet Him later in heaven...

Yeah~ I do waste my time all the time. I'm so shame for this. Just a monent ago, I spent almost three hours to play a computer game. Something that you can't hold on yourself sometimes. And also there are other time I waste in my daily life. Sometimes I just want to stay on the bed and keep sleeping, I just don't want to move at all. And then, time is gone by, everything lost. Nothing in my hand at the end. Watching TV, playing computer games, shopping,sleeping...there are so many ways I'm wasting my time. LOL...Why? Because sometime I just hard to control myself...

I waste most of my time on internet by playinggames,sometimes 2 or 3 per day.I enjoy playing chess and other games.I need to do some lessons and write articles this year,wasting time is not a good habit.time is valuable.If I use time properly I will have plenty of time for class,work and play..I will manage my time.

I am a mother of a 5-year-old and she keeps me on my toes throughout the day. I take care of her, my hubby, and all the household chores. So imagine no time to waste. yes I do have time when my daughter leaves for school and my hubby to his office. This 2-3 hours time I get is time I spend for myself. Like I log on to Mylot and enjoy. I can imagine how of free time you have.
