How Many of You Think Bosses are Stupid?

I dont think so, if they were stupid they would be the employee not the boss. i think being a boss is a tough job and you have to be pretty smart to do the job right. (no, I am not a boss)

I wouldn't say stupid, but he is eaisly infulenced and persuaded by others. People know what he like and use that to their advantage, sort of tricking him in a way to get what they want. This dosent always work but I have seen people do this to him before.

I have met 3 kind of boss in my working life. First, she is really stupid about business, but she is rich, she have money can cover her stupidity, but she is not stupid about money. The second, he is not stupid, but he act like he knows nothing and the staff have to do all most of the job, he take all staff's energy. The last one, the most intelligent boss of mine. He acts both way, sometime he is stupid, sometimes he is not. He know how and when he has to be stupid, you see how smart he is. I said he is a snack, he knows exactly what good for him, and how act can be good for him. So he always makes us things " we make all mistakes, and he is the one to correct that". So be careful what kind of boss do you have!!!

Yeah, not all of them are stupid, but except for my boss:) I don't think my boss is very smart. Sometimes it just doesn't make a sense for his behaviors. I can't have a thought as well as him.

LOL, I'm retired now so I can tell the truth without getting in trouble. Stupid is pretty much a requirement for bosses, because of the Peter Principal which states that "every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence." As a former teacher, somewhat unique in that I worked in many non-teaching jobs as well, I can attest to the general validity of the saying that people who can't do anything else teach and those who cannot teach become administrators. Of course, this does not apply to all teachers. LOL.

i agree. Some bosses are really make believe that they are everything and you are nothing. Especially when you are doing a lot of work and boss thinks that it's not enough, i hate bosses like that.

Nothing is good or bad, but thinking make it so. NO one is perfect, so I do not think that bosses are stupid. I do not think that my boss is stupid. I pay due regards to him and I remain aware of the fact that he would be better than I in something or the another, that is whey he is my boss and I am his subordinate.

I am lucky to say that i've never had a boss who i consider stupid...some workmates yep, but not the boss. My current boss is a nice guy...i was at her gf's house last night, they organized a party and it was great.

Lukily,no for me till this moment. Anyway, they are bosses, if we don't do things per their orders, no matter how stupid they sounds, we turns to be some null.:) Don't you think so? You know, quite my bosses are HK people, they are not bad, and I do appreciate all the chances they have given for me. Andy

Hi Rice Queen, Luckily, I have just been working in one place, and here in my company , my bosses are pretty stupid. But sometimes in this company, we must do whatever the bosses order. And what bosses are talking about, no matter it sounds like stupid or not, is proves to be right in the end... And you know, even the boss is stupid, he/she is the boss, we might say he/she is really stupid face to face when we become his/her boss, otherwise, we are also stupid to let him/her know that we deem her as a stupid/null.
