Someone asks you a question that you don't want to answer

How do you respond. Do you change the subject or do you flat out tell them that you are not going to answer or other.

I would usually smile at the person asking, and ask "why do you want to know?". If he/she really keep on asking,I would only smile =P

Well the last time someone asked me a question I just didn't answer. And I moved on to something else. And come to think that's how I always handle that kind of situation.

I try to steer people to a more appropriate question, answer only part of the question that is OK, or change the subject if it is really not appropriate. That's if a person is just curious about something that is none of their business. If a person asks a question to harass, insult, or upset me, then I would call the peron on trying to harass me.
