So do you have any big plans for the weekend? I do. I am staying home for the first time in a very long time. I have been invited to a party that is almost a hundred miles away but this last summer I have spent most weekends traveling and I am tired of it. I plan on relaxing and working on things I haven't had a chance to work on in a couple of months like sorting through my closet, trying some new stamping techniques and reorganizing etc. I am so happy to be home!

Well, it is finally a little cooler here and so we are planning to go to the lake and have a picnic today when my daughter gets home from work. I think it will be nice. It is cloudy and looks as though it might rain but hopefully we can get our picnic in first.

I have had a change of plans for my weekend. I found out 3 days ago that my 19 year old grandson will be living with me while he goes to college in town and he starts this coming Monday. His mother lives 60 miles away and it seems that "Grandma's house" was the most obvious place to live...so I will be busy cleaning out a room for him and wondering what will happen with a woman who has become very "independent". It will be a good experience and I will probably enjoy it but when I had a child come to live with me before...I had at least 9 months to get used to the idea. Things should be very interesting around here this weekend...he moves in this coming Sunday...2 days.

Wow!!! THat will be a change! But maybe it will be nice to have some company around the house and maybe he will help out a little doing the heavy stuff so Grandma can do other things~!
