Each nations and countries have heroes, national heroes? who is your country's national hero? our country has Jose Rizal. but your country has lots of heroes in its history. among your country's heroes you is your favorite? why?I like and is my favorite is Gregorio del Pilar. he was the youngest general in the Philippine Revolutionary Forces during the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-American War. the 24-year old "boy general" led a 60-man Filipino rearguard in the "Battle of Tirad Pass" against the "Texas Regiment", the 33rd infantry regiment of the United States Volunteers. this became the "Philippine Thermopylae" were these valiant Filipino soldiers stood their ground on the steep mountain of Tirad Pass. who is fave hero? what did he accomplished or have done in order for you to admire him/her?

I'm from Cavite, to which I think this place has the most number of national heroes here in the Philippines. This is a historic place, where our first national flag was also raised. We have the thirteen martyrs, Miguel Malvar, Gen. Mariano Trias and of course, the first President of the Philippine Republic, Emilio Aguinaldo. With all these, I go for Emilio "Miong" Aguinaldo because of his superb military leadership.

MY favorite national hero is Jose Rizal, I liked his subtle and very secrtive and intelligent way of fighting against the Spanish regime.

Well, that is a very good question but sadly I do not think that I know who is our favorite national hero. I will have to look it up for sure. Thanks for the reminder.
