Why do men cheat?

Well it's not just men who cheat - women do it too! I think people cheat for various reasons - because the grass is always greener on the other side, because they want what they can't or shouldn't have, maybe because they're bored or of course some people just do it because they can! Being in a relationship doesn't stop you finding other people attractive. It's whether you decide to do anything about it that matters and some people just make the wrong decisions.

well.. it's man's nature to be polygamous.. and we can never be contented till we really look at having realtionship as a serious committment.. not just attraction or a sudden burst of emotions..anyone is so vulnerable to cheat, specially if things don't go the way they planned, expected, or wanted it..

Both sexes cheats, but most men I know who cheats claims its due to lack of affection at home. I think the grass is greener on the other side is one of the reasons.

I think older men cheat to reclaim their youth. They believe if they can still get a woman to find them attractive, that means they haven't "lost it". I also believe that many times it is simply a case of having their cake and eating it too...they want the best of both worlds.

Why do women cheat? Possible the same reasons. There are plenty of reasons why. None of them justifiable though. Some men are just no good. Some may have issues they can't deal with. Some cheat because it's probably something they are not getting at home or they think the grass is greener on the other side. Some probably have hurt and either want to hurt others before he gets hurt or hurt others just because he was hurt. Some are rich or well off. They think that they can treat anyone the way that they want to because the girl probably don't have the means that they do. They think you need them and will put up with any crap that they throw at you. As I said, none justifiable. Just poor week excuses. But do you see where I'm going with this. Some do this and some do that for what ever reason or reasons. Not all men cheat. Maybe you are hooking up with the wrong ones. If you are one of the many women that are hooking up with bad boys thinking you are going too change them, well there's one of your mistakes right there. If they rap and always listening to the songs that degrade women like calling them b___hes and w___es or in there language h--s, or how big they are and they got the magic stick, etc., again wrong choice. I would probably write a little book here on this subject. I am afraid if I write anymore these wrong people I am trying to steer you away from could read this and use it against anyone. If you need any more advice on this subject maybe I can get it to you somehow. remember you have to build on a relationship. Don't accept bad materials or your house will not be sound and will crumble.

I can't speak from experience because ive never cheated on a girlfriend, not once. However if a guy or a girl cheats it must be because they aren't that happy with their relationship. just a thought.

well, a man cheats because he wants more and is never satisfied or he was looking for sometyhing that his wife/gf do not have... another reason is he wants to prove something to people like he is a a good looking man, and they can never accept the fact that their woman is a cheating wife/girlfriend because its hurtful to their egos. according to my husband men cheat because they can and it is somehow accepted by society, see how some women just forgive her man inspite of being cheater for numerous times, and men hates the fact that women cheat because it is like killing his ego or something. so thus instead of loosing face to his friend and the whole world he wants to kill her.Most of the man cheat even if they have everything good because they get bored.Boredom is one of the most important and real reason why many of them go for another relationship.They cannot control there physical eagerness & they want change.When people really dont understand the meaning of true love and trust and the happiness they have in their life is not enough, they tend to cheat.When people have a tendency of wanting more and more and do not see what they already have, they cheat.When people are not satisfied with what they have, when they want more taht they dont have they tend to cheat. There may be many more such reasons to cheat, but I think these are the most common. I just hope you you find it true.

I have a theory here it goes. They are seduced. They want more than one lover. They want it but their lover is not around. That is all I got. I don't know much about this.

I think there are two main reasons that men cheat, one is to get something that he is not getting from his wife at home like diffrent positions or s&m or something like that and the other is when he hits his midlife crisis and looks for younger wmen to intern make him feel younger. I am glad to say that I have never cheated on a women before weither you want to believe it or not. Actually I was the one who was cheated on many years ago.
