Do you think it's harder to stay on a diet once the pizza coupons arrive?

Every week like clockwork, we get pizza coupons in the mail. It's as if the local pizza delivery place knows that we are big pizza consumers and targets us specifically. Thinking about it now, that is probably what they do! Anyway, lately I've been trying to eat better. Or, at least telling myself that I should do so for my health sake.
But, then Wednesday rolled around and we got a big batch of pizza coupons in the mail. And, wouldn't you know it, Wednesday became our new official pizza day. It had been formerly, "Moms too tired to cook" Pizza Friday. But, now it's up to two times a week. And, the diet dreams flew out the window!
So, that's my story! How about you? When you get pizza coupons in the mail or see an ad for pizza on TV, do you find that it's harder to stay on your diet or lose weight? Are coupons enough to tempt you away from healthy eating?

I receive lots of pizza coupons on Wednesday and just throw out all the pizza coupons. This way no pizza deliveries and no hard to get rid of calories. I do keep the Subway coupons, so if I'm going to have quick food, then I won't be adding to many calories in one day.

The pizza coupons always make me want pizza too. And it seems like "oh, it wouldn't cost much". But we're trying to be frugal, and we also need to be eating fairly healthfully, so no pizza for us.

I’m tempted to buy Pizza on Tuesdays – its buy a large for the price of a small night at the local pizza place. I love it- I can feed the family with 1 large pizza for under $10- it’s wonderful- Sure it isn’t the best for you- but it’s better than fast food. : )
I always look at the Pizza Hut coupons we get in the mail- and toss them ~ there prices do not even come close to the local pizzeria—and the local pizzeria is much better- so no coupons don’t do it for me- it is the weekly specials! : (

I wouldn't be able to afford to buy pizza twice a week! lol Well, I guess I could, but it would take away from our savings! :)
The coupons that really do us in if we are on a diet, are the ones for the local seafood place. My husband and son both really like seafood. I don't like fish, but they have one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. They send out coupons for buy one get one half off dinners. So we tend to go there about once a month.
We try to keep our pizza ordering down to once or less every month. The rest of the time, when we want pizza I make it at home. It's much healthier that way, and of course, cheaper, too! I don't have to feel guilty about feeding it to my family because I know exactly what is in it.

Well I would say I eat a lot of fatening stuff but I balance out my diet. It's not really that hard. Like if you eat a meal of fatening things, you try to eat more healthy during other meals (the same day). Or if I really eat a lot during that day (functions and stuff), I would give myself two days to eat healthy. It's not really hard and the thing is the more you avoid certain food, the more you want it and eventually the diet plan would be vanish in the air and that would be "double bad".

I get pizza coupons a couple time a week, but it never tempts me enough to go off my eating plan and indulge. Of course, I don't have a family begging for pizza, LOL. I just look at it as something I'll eat for 10 minutes, but will carry on my hips for 10 more weeks. Also, knowing that I'm saving money helps make my decision easier too.
