Are you interested in things because your other half is?

We have a new sports channel on TV and I could become an Australian rules football widow. My hubby is a displaced Aussie and he loves this sport as he used to play it when he was young. I had a choice to make, become a widow or learn the game and become a fan. I am now a fan. It is so much better that american football. Anyways will you become interested in something your other half likes or just do something else when he is busy?

It just depends on what it is. My hubby is really into koi ponds, and has a pond of his own. He is busy with the koi fish and talks about it a lot. Sometimes I will listen and I hear and remember certain used terms. But it is not my thing, when he is doing his fish I am mostly doing my own stuff. I believe in a relationship it is good to also have your own things too.

That is true too, give and take in a relationship. Koi ponds sound interesting and I love the finished product.
