Has anyone else hear of a Blood Moon?

We live in the hills of Perth Australia and we missed it also, it was realy cloudy last night because of all the rain weve got coming in the next few days. We are the same and usually miss out on all the cool things that happen in the atmosphere, but in saying that we did get to see Hayley's Commet and even managed to get some photo's of it somewhere.

I have not heard about a blood moon. I do not know what that is. I know we had an eclips last night or should I say this morning. I have heard of a moon stone and I was thinking that was what you where talking about first.

Im sorry,,i didnt htink you were into the night and stars llike me,,,i wil let you know for now on when soemthing is gonna happen..and actually mars was the closest its ever been yesterday..i believe..there was emailk goin aroundsaying it was going to be a sbig as the moon and i checked NASA's website and they explained..what was really seen was beside the moon looked like a slightly bigger star orangish in color..i missed that..because i was on here so long and i was into it..u know me lol..i also think we had a lunar eclipse and i missed that too..lol..but when anything else happens ill let u know..like the nest meteor shower,now those are just awesome!!! I've never seen one. I've seen a harvest moon, which is all orange and cool looking - it happens in October or November around here. I keep missing things because I don't know that they are going to happen. It's also difficult in the city because of all the light. The light makes it harder to see the stars.
