How many of you never recive visits at your house??

sometimes. i have company come over. but i would rather them to call first.

I hardly ever have anybody stop by ever since I had cancer 6 years ago. Once I couldn't drive to visit folks they just stopped coming by as often. One thing that has to be realized is that most people are extremely busy living their own lives, it's not that they're ignoring you, it's just they're busy. To have a friend, you have to be one. Don't ever get depressed about it, that's a real turn-off to most people and will chase them away rather than bring them to you. Misery does NOT love company, it only drives them away. So, plaster that smile back on your face so they can see the happier side of you. It doesn't bother me that nobody visits, sure I wish they would, but I understand they have busy lives too. Most of them I keep up with via emails and phone calls, a personal visit just isn't always in the cards:-)I'm going to be happy no matter whether somebody's coming to visit or not...life's too short to worry about the motivations of others.
