I'm doing something I rarely do...drinking (gasp!)

This is no rant. This is no pity-party. There is not one shred of news here. Today marks the end of the month, my roughest day, thank God I didn't have any classes, lol. Why is it my roughest day, you ask? Because I end two monthly surfing contests at midnight the last day of each month. This month hasn't been all that active, but usually the last day up to the last minute can get pretty hairy. Anyhoo, midnight marks the end of what is usually a pretty hectic day(and sometimes stressful when dealing with the people who didn't win...like I can control that or something, anyhoo). Sometime within the next hour, I'll be popping the top on some 100 proof peppermint schapps (YUK! lol, it's all yucky anyway) and will have me a nice tidy little buzz...as I said in an earlier discussion, my boy is at his real mom's this weekend, so there's no bad example being set here. There's rarely alcohol in this house, and when there is, normally it's a tiny bottle of red wine for me that often sits for weeks before I open it. Anyway, what's my point? Due to the fact that I will be slammed here in a bit, I will not be dealing with anymore controversy, as I have a hard time controlling my mouth when I've been drinking...as if I'm the only one, lol. Any responses to any discussions of a controversial nature that I receive tonight will not be answered until sometime tomorrow or Sunday (gotta lot of homework to squeeze in too!). I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend, and my heart truly goes out to those of you who I already know are not. I'll be tipping my shot glass to you all very shortly. Happy Friday!
