What is it that makes this show appealing to a lot of people. I love this show because enjoy puzzles and each episode is about a person with a puzzling disease and its upto House to figure it out. Is it Dr, House's satirical comments? Is it hos ways of treating his associates? Is it him being so real, with his own pains and turmoils yet can somehow mnanage to still tap his genius mind to figure out patient's illness. Sometimes, I do wonder how this show manages to attract people even those who re not into any medical / allied medical profession. Yet I also know people in the medical field that have no taste for this show. So what is it really that makes one watch this show? How long do you think this show will manage to survive?

Yes, it definitely makes you wonder when they will finally all end up at each others throat and you have wrestlemania! :) It also shows the different kinds of doctors, how their personality plays a big factor on how they communicate with patients. Which is a reality.

I enjoy the entire cast and think the show will continue until Hugh Laurie no longer wants to do the show. Hugh is always doing something unexpected, so I'm always looking forward to seeing what he will do next. The cases on the show have been interesting and the solutions aren't always what we would expect to happen.

I'm not exactly sure why I like this show. I remember catching it one night and it was just interesting. probably the best Medical drama I've seen and WAY better then ER. Probably because the main character is a Genius AND a jerk as well. The special effects and CG work are pretty good as well and keep it interesting. Also, trying to figure out whats wrong...its like solving a case.

Yes, i think thats the best part of it all, that you also are trying to figure out what is wrong, and basically you don't know the twists and turns till it happens. Compared to ER, well, I think overall they are very different, I think ER is more along the lines of Grey's Anatomy or even Scrubs. Those really focus on developing the characters of the doctors not just in the hospital but outside of it

I love the character of House, himself. I find him fascinating. He's rude and sarcastic, but he's much more than that, and I love those glimpses the show gives the audience into his character beyond what's on the surface.

I think I mainly watch the show because of Hugh Laurie. He has been one of my favorite actors for a while now. I also like House's sarcasm and how he doesn't mince words. On a minor note, I identify with him because he has a cane and I have to use one on occasion too :)

I started watching a year after it had already started, and my friend showed it to me and I got hooked right away. I think Hugh Laurie is a great actor. I like the storyline for the show and I think all the actors are great.

I like House because it is interesting how these people come into the hosptial with some weird unknown diease and House can seem to be the one that can figure out. Also how he figures the dieases out are a trip. He just bust up in the patients room and say and do whatever he feels like. Even though people hate him at first, people thank him in the end and his co-workers always need him.

I'm attracted to this show simply because I'm also in a medical field by profession. I love it when House and his staff are in a pool of discussion and trying to diagnose their patient and talking about signs and symptoms accompanied by the disease. And as expected, I'm just like one of those staff who diagnose the patient with regards to obvious symptoms unlike House who really digs deeper. And I assume the writer behind this show is also in a medical field because I suppose only people with knowledge about medicine would be able to know this things because its not easy just to make up illnesses and be proven by symptoms.

I like watching House because of all the characters in it. I could not pin point what specifically attracted me into watching this show. Every episodes shows a puzzling disease and that House and his associates are able to treat this disease. I hope that this show would last for a long time.

I like his wits on his diagnosis of the patients illness plus his character. I just love him very much. Of course sometime you will get kind of fed up with his way of doing things or ruthless way, but some how he does manage to solve all the problems so far.

The reason I love this show is House himself. I couldn't care less about Cameron, Chase and Foreman (and it kind of seems like they might be replaced or something this season) though I do like House's interaction with Cuddy and Wilson. I think House is one of the most unique characters on television and I love how he responds to situations in ways that are the completely opposite of the average person's responses. If House were any different, the show wouldn't be nearly as possible.

I watch because of House himself! I think it is his sense of humour and how intelligent he comes across that gives him such appeal. I also enjoy watching him with the other Doctors. Hugh Laurie (House) is such an awesome actor, and to take on this role with an American accent would have been such a challenge, and he pulls it off so well.

So are you implying that you do not like this show? I don't know why I like the show, I just like the show. It's entertaining and it's interesting. I'm curious to see how it'll last after the whole thing with the 3 doctors all being gone now. I think the show won't be over yet. It's a pretty highly rated show and when Idol comes on that always helps to give House a boost in ratings.
