Earnings in proportion to responses received?

Does our earnings stay static when there are no responses to our discussions or when we do not atart a discussion?I am not aware of what goes on here. However, as I noticed yesterday, my beautiful picture was not posted at all. Is there some time lapse before our picture gets posted or is this also immediate as our discussions?Did I do something wrong?- because though I posted the image twice, I see the discussion and not the imaage.
