This lesser known system of a down album deserves a lot more credit, it is my personal favorite. What do you guys think about it, considering that you have even heard of it

Hey, I liked Steal This Album very much :D It was more melodical than Toxicity IMO My personal favourites are "I-E-A-I-A-I-O" and "Innervision". I like the mixture of hard rock with more ethnical (folklore?) sounds :)

songs from Steal This Album were actually recorder for TOXICITY... they just could not fit all the song into one album, so they decided to make another album that they released a year later, which was of course STEAL THIS ALBUM...

I agree, underrated but great. IEAIAO was my favourite on the album, crazy weird lyrics in it though. "Icicle stretchings, bicycle shoestrings, one flag, flag over one..." Crazy but good.

At first few listens I didn't like that album too much and saw why it was just considered left overs from Toxicity but after a few listens I started to like it. I think the reason some of these songs were left off Toxicity is just that they wouldn't have fit the vibe, not that they were bad songs or anything like that. I like ADD (American Dream Denial) quite a bit and theres some other good songs on that album. I don't really see it as just an album full of leftovers anymore like I use to.
