You should encourage him to work out with you. Maybe if you do it too, or if you also follow the diet, he'll be more motivated to do so, too. You both could go on "diets" or "lifestyle changes" together. You guys could join a gym together, or start running in the morning together. It will be an excuse to spend more time together, too.

hello ajyukie, a good wife certainly can help give the smaller waistline and healthier heart to a husband by spending a little more time in the kitchen, doing some tender loving cooking , learning how to lean cooking foods, feeding husband in a modern manner means cutting down on hard fats, starches, and sugars, and increasing the protein foods(Remember he needs half a gram protein for each pounds of his ideal body weight- not his overweight. If your man weight 160 pounds, He needs 80 grams of protein every day) Expensive? No, there are other alternatives, like soy meats. also, include as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. You may have difficulty at first changing your man's eating habits, so use your womanpower-do it gently and gradually. By all means begin by serving good protein breakfast because this greatly determines whether the day ahead will be hectic or wether things are taken calmly.Happy mylotting

My husband use to nag me about my weight and I would just get heavier. He is now supporting me to make better food choices. I'm now buying a lot of fruit and vegetables and we are eating better. Its important to have many choices available, so when you really want a snack, then there is a good choice available. I have learned to eat food only when I'm hungry and eat many small meals each day. Its important for me to be healthy, but if I want to have a little ice cream with a friend, then I can have it.

You should have him go to the doctor and get his blood pressure and stuff checked out. His blood pressure could be high, and maybe the doctor can tell him the dangerous things that could happen if he doesn't change what he eats, such as heart attack and stuff. You almost need to scare him into realizing that what he's eating is not healthy.
