What are the things that inspire you?

There are certain songs I have in mind that absolutely inspire me. When I listen to that particular song, I feel good vibrations emanating from me. I feel like I could do anything that I want that is good. I feel more energized. The same thing with good books/novels that I read. They do somehow inspire me. You know that feeling, when it gives you that push. Something that makes you give an extra effort. To go beyond your comfort zone. Do rather good things to others that you do not usually do in your everyday life. I like also inspirational quotes. Great talks with good friends also does it for me. Do you have some in particular that inspire you? I would love to know, it's great to feel inspired. Thanks for sharing!(:

I have my family- husband and children, my business and online programs, my friends especially my bestfried, and my extended family- my mother and sisters and brothers. They all inspire me to go on with life. I also have a goal that inspire me to work harder- my ambition of becoming a doctor and my children to be successful in their chosen careers later on in their lives.

That is a very good answer. The foundation in your family is deep rooted and they all give you support and inspiration to go on with life. A goal in life, I agree, makes a person focused and keep on going to the path desired. Thanks for sharing izathewzia.

Like you said there are many songs that inspire me and keep me going. Some songs are even so powerful, they can bring me out of a funk. But good poetry or writing poetry myself inspires me a lot and lets me get my thoughts out on paper. I used to receive emails from this website that sent inspirational quotes to your inbox several times a week. A lot of them were very good. These things do help you to keep your head up and realize you can do what you want to do with hard work and determination.

Oh, you are right. I appreciate good poetry and somehow I internalize and I get inspired from them also. I am interested in your mentioning these emails you get from a website that sent inspirational quotes. I would like that very much. Thanks ranitam for your very informational input.

Every morning after I have come back from jogging I normally do some gardening in my mini vegetable garden. Through years and years I find that no matter how often I do my weeding, the grass still could manage to grow wildly in my garden. The perseverance of survival of the weeds could really amaze me. I appreciate the spirit of the tiny grass of being so persistent in the battle of life. This spirit definitely inspires me very much in view of solving problems in daily life. I will never give up easily whenever I encounter with any hardship. I would like to share this experience with you, my dear friend.:D

There are certain things that inspire me and like you music is one of them. I hand stamp cards..greeting cards and it's funny that what music I listen to while I am doing it...makes a difference in how my cards turn out. If I listen to more classical they are a little more refined. If I listen to country they are cutesy! Go figure!

Hi jill... thanks for dropping by. I think music can be a very powerful influence on us, subconsciously, so yes, it depends on what kind of music you listen to and it will influence you somehow, accordingly.

Music is one way that I am inspired...and I love reading Oprah's magazine. It is filled with positive, uplifting material that give me wonderful insights and ideas. I also enjoy quotations and chats with friends. I read a considerable amount of metaphysical material from authors like Wayne Dyer, Stuart Wilde, Deepack Chopra and anything from the Unity Truth Center in Missouri. I am inspired when I'm out in nature, when someone says or does something that is open, honest and real. Sometimes watching talk shows with intelligent people who are using their lives for the highest and greatest good of the all can have the same effect. Dancing, laughing, signing also inspires me...so there are a variety of ways. Thanks for creating a chat where we can think on those things...nice to review them once in awhile. Warm regards dear friend, Raia

Hi Raia! I had no idea Oprah has her own magazine. I could probably check that out online. I am new with this thing called "metaphysical material", but it sounds interesting. If you don't mind I will also check out the authors you mentioned, and maybe I can find some that are of really be of interest to me. Oh, you like to dance? That is something new I found out about you. How nice. I also like to dance, and I agree that it could be uplifting! I would also definitely agree on laughing!LOL But singing, I have never been a good singer! LOL Terrible, actually.LOL Thanks my dear friend for sharing and getting to know a little more about you... Take care and see you around.

Thanks for the best response..and the fun of sharing things we both like. Dancing yes...that is how I lift my mood. Putting on music and dancing with or without my hubby...I just love to move to the beat! Singing...if there is no one home..and you have some favorite tunes who cares if you sing off key or not...it is still fun. There are a lot of closet singers with not so hot voices that sing their heads off in the shower!LOL It really lifts my mood..you might want to try it sometime. Hope you can find the Oprah magazine..it is packed full of great uplifting ideas about how to improve the quality of life in every way. The metaphysical material I mentioned is great...it is the foundation of most everything I write...change your beliefs and yes, you truly can change your life. One of my blogs has that as a topic...and there are others there that might give you a feel for the subject. Anyway, always fun chatting with you too...you are a valued friend...but we both know that by now! Warm and loving regards your gal-pal Raia

Hi! For me, good deeds inspire me. People who made sacrifices or those who were selfless enough to do things for the good. Happy moments inspire me, too. Readings and talks also inspire me. Bo Sanchez's books are some books I read and get inspiration from. I've also read Leo Buscaglia's book on Living, Loving and Learning. I love that book. It makes me realize about life and love. The bible has so many inspiring words that help me realize my human nature and God's plan for all of us.

Hi errielle! Am I surprised you're here! We were just chatting about oatmeal as a facial.LOL I agree I am also inspired by selfless, generous people who made sacrifices for others. There are still people out there like that nowadays. My goodness, I read Bo Sanchez'books! He enlightens me, he has a gift and I am sure God works wonders through him. In fact I always visit his webpage. Wow, there are so many things we have in common. I have also read Leo Buscaglia book "Living, Loving and Learning" when I was in college. Yeah, that man inspired me through his book. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate and enjoy your inputs.
