This Place is for discussing the reasons, for the low Intrest of Younger Generation in Reading Books and the effects of this on the society. We are here to put our views on this and the steps to be taken to increase the intrest of reading in the generation to come.

Well, the internet is a big factor, and tv. But, I also think it's because of how reading is presented sometimes. Like it's a chore. People almost seem to see any reading like a school assignment. I think kids should be introduced to reading as a fun activity. Not something you do to get extra benefits. If a book/magazine/comic educates you or provides some other service, that's all fine. But, I think the best way to get kids reading is to show that reading is fun just because.
