What is your least favorite piece of music to play on an instrument?

I have always had a love hate relationship with Mozart and Bach. The piece that I hate playing is Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachmusik.It isn't hard . it is pretty enough. It is just that I played it so many times that I am still sick of it and I stopped playing it years ago. and with Bach. I love listening to His Work, but I can't play him well. My nemesis was Brandenberg Concerto #3.If you take it too slowly it sounds bad. But if you take it too fast it sounds rushed.Even the righr speed I wasn't good at playing it. but unlike Eine Kleine, I am not sick of it. In fact when I hear it now, i am just resigned to the fact that it is a piece I can't play.

Playing classical guitar I run into this a quite a bit. Although my list of songs that I don't like to play changes over time. I'm with you though, once you play something so many times, it's almost agony to play it again.
I think the top one on my list would be Beethoven's Fur Elise on the classical guitar. Everyone and I mean everyone requests it. I'm so sick of it at this point that for the last few years I just shrug, apologize and profess to not know it.

That what happened to me with Eine Kleine. I was in a quartet and we played it at every gig.do you find that if a comerical is playing Fur Elise that you immediately change the channel? I know I do when I hear Eine Kleine.

Any piece of music I would play on an instrument would be my least favorite because I do not play an instrument. Learning to play an instrument was frowned upon by my mother. I encouraged my children to play. My daughter, who is celestialceece on MyLot, plays clarinet. She can no longer play due to her arthritis. But, when she did, she played Mozart exceptionally well.

I like to play a lot of songs with my guitar but I don't play a lot of classical music. However, I like the Romance op. 50 of Beethoven.
