the older yrs

I want to be one of those old dirty ladies, the ones that will pinch the young male nurse’s rump as they try to take my vitals, LOL. Do you remember candid camera and when the show credits would come on at the beginning they would show that old lady sweeping her side walk and as the guy walked by she hit him with her broom then go back to sweeping as if she did nothing. Well that is who I want to be. A rotten old lady that finds pleasure in messing with the young folks heads, :oD

Well, I'll prolly be sayin' "Those silly young'uns" still, but it'll actually fit my age by that point. I won't be too cranky I don't think, or bitter or anything. I may be a bit more feisty than I am now, though...still living life as best as I can. Still dreaming, still hoping. Hopefully by then I'll have earned a peaceful retirement where I can CHOOSE to get into trouble for the fun of it, instead of trouble dropping in on me. I don't need that when I'm old, man lol. I have enough of that now. I'll probably still be far too kind for my own good by then, though. I'd like to be the grandma type, you know, baking muffins for the grandkids, taking care of a thousand cats, active til the day I die. We'll see though. ^_^

LOL! I've been thinking of this a lot lately since I started working as a server in an assisted living place. I still haven't come up with what I think I'll be like though...I would like to think mostly like I am now :)

Well I work with a group of elderly people in a retirement home and I do not want to be like them. I want to be the same as I am now. I can see me listening to hip hop, rap, rock & blues music when I'm 80 years old, probably still cranking it up. Dancing while I do housework. I'll still be bossy like I am now. I just think I'll be older, but I want to stay busy and keep up with the times. I hope I don't change to much. I don't want to be a grumpy, frumpy, complaining old lady.
