xParanoiax responded to a discussion called Toppings? in mashed potatoes.
I usually like parsley or basil on my my mashed potatoes, along with gravy.

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called Dinner under 10 dollars for 4 people in cooking.

My family regular succeeds at spending four to five dollars on a meal for five of us. Mostly because we love making everything from scratch and it's alot easier to eat cheaply when you make everything you eat yourself. Non-name-brands helps alot too, of course. And our favorite price for everything is a dollar.

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called Did you hear about the new movie Jennifer's Body? in bisexual.
I was planning on watching it. While I would like for there to be a bisexual and positive character in the mainstream...I recognize that even we have our bad apples. And vampires are usually depicted as bisexual or pansexual anyways (good AND bad ones). ...but I agree that it sucks that the only popular movies with a bi main character are ones with EVIL bi main characters.

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called I love vampire shows and movies! in watching television.

I like supernaturally themed shows and movies in general...although I maintain that there have been more good vampire themed movies than shows.>_>My favorite show atm is SUPERNATURAL (Lol, I know, aptly named, right?)...which is mostly monsters but recently has delved alot into the apocalypse and angels and demons in general. Although True Blood is another show centered around vampires wi...

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called Do you like reading? in reading.

I'm a book addict. I feel bad if I don't read SOMETHING everyday...and failing that, I feel bad if I don't read stuff online those days. I have a constant battle against brain atrophy...that is; the decay of thought. I feel like my brain's melting when I don't feed it new information. So really, it's the best thing for me all around. My first love was learning...and I do as much of that as...

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called What would you read? in reading.
There are plenty of things I won't read, but I do have broader tastes than most I know. Of all things, I probably won't read most of the western, historical, or romance genres. Any other genre, though, it's likely that I'll read anything I pick up.

xParanoiax responded to a discussion called Does anybody read books anymore? in reading.
I don't know the percentage of people in the U.S. that read on a daily basis...however, of those who do read (and there have to be alot, for authors make any sort of profit) there are alot who only read certain kinds of things. What's trendy, what's new, only fiction, only nonfiction, on a certain genre, only by certain authors, etc. MOST of the readers I've encountered lately have been in t...

^_^' I've a few notebooks filled with book, story ideas. Character profiles, plot ideas, notes on things I should improve and try out in the future. I've two way-too-full ones, atm. The second one is the only one of the two with any empty pages left in it (though not much).

xParanoiax received a best response in the discussion Would you make your own cleaning products? by moonchild1au.
Some things, I make my own stuff to kill bugs too, garden pests (usually natural ingredients, like garlic cloves in water and pouring the water over the broken earth for junebug grubs). Alot of stuff I use to clean is very basic. Regular soap, baking soda, vinegar, and water. It's all I usually need. I prefer not to spend money on things that I can do myself with stuff I already have on h...

xParanoiax received a best response in the discussion Does seeing ghosts run in families? by votenoonpineapple.
It CAN be hereditary. I've known plenty of people who can see, talk to, and summon the dead who didn't have a single person in their family who can do it too. However, in my experience, it's more common for it to run in the family. It runs in mine. xD But that's the thing with anything that's passed down with genes...sometimes it skips generations and individuals.

What kind of cold/flu gives you a sore and congested throat but no runny nose?

Hey all, I've been wondering if I even have a virus for the last three days. The first day, my throat was very dry and sore, and I had thought that I had carelessly left my mouth hanging open in my...

Thanks for accepting my FR. I hope you will find my discussions interesting. Please don't take it personally if I don't respond to every comment but I assure you I will read them all. If I don't respond it's probably because I agree with what you say and can add nothing to it. But I will rate each comment I find positive. Thanks again.
