Jazz Dance Movements??

Can anyone help me with a part of my 14 year old daughters assignment?
She has to list the five movements that are characteristic to Jazz Dance.
She missed out on the teaching of this aspect when she was sick, & despite a lot of research on the internet, we both are confused.
I am hoping there may be a dancer among the My Lotters, who might know what these five movements are?

After looking online I can see why you are confused. I am responding mostly for the idea of keeping this up a little longer so that someone who knows can come along and tell you. I could go through the twenty or so that I have found, and guess, but that would be all it would be is a guess. Does your daughter not have a friend in class who could or would share with her what the teacher wants? Or let her borrow notes from class? How is she supposed to learn it if she does not have access to the lecture, and there is no definitive text? It seems rather unfair to me. I hope someone else comes along who can help, or that she finds someone from class who can.

Thanks for this. I knew it would be difficult to find somone on My Lot who may know this, but thought I would give it a chance. There have been people here before with various good skills & knowledge.
My daughter did contact one class member, for whom she had her mobile number, but this girl didn't know the answer either. Apparentlythere is no text.
I think it is too difficult, & I am writing to the teacher tomorrow.
