Marking the Best Responses

Hi ateretdd I do not assign my best responses until the number of comments to any discussion begins to slow down. That could be up to a week or two...or as little as a few days. Friends who have their notifiers on to friends responses usually sow up immediately after a new discussion is posted. After that I wait to see how many more members show up during the next few days. If a topic is popular and numerous comments keep coming in on a daily basis I wait. Once the responses begin to trickle down I assign my best response. When possible I will always assign it to a friend if they are in the running among others. But I do my best to be fair minded and decide the 'best of the best' and often it is a really tough call. Also I noticed that you have not rated any of your respondents and that happens a lot here. Mylotters have been working together to make sure all comments on each of their discussions are marked (+) unless they are abusive. Hopefully you and others will join us in looking out for each other by giving the plus most members deserve. Hope this helps...best regards. Raia

Oh, I have like 20 plus unresolved discussions sitting there,I mark best response every monday,only once a week so it won't accumulate,however this week I might not go into them because I only have little time here due to work loads. Hello! I always choose best responses to my discussions. But two weeks I didn't choose best response of all of my discussions due to being little busy. But I hope I'll choose the best responses of all pending discussions on this weekend when am free. I also feel boosted when somebody rates my response to their discussion as the best response. And thats why I understand the importance of rating best response and rate best responses to my discussions. vani ^_^

Eventually, I will mark every discussion with a best response, but for now I have the hope that more people will come along and add comments. I am a true optimist, don't you think? But I agree with you! when people rate my response as best and am quite honored and feel happy.

This reminds me that I should also sit and resolve all my discussions, I think it is a marathon task. I will see if I can answer a few of your unanswered discussions.

Hello! I usually wait 3 weeks to mark the best response in any discussions i've started. I choose the ones who made a very good point whether it's pro my opinion or contra my opinion and whether it's from my friends list or not. When it comes to rating the responses with + & - in my discussions, I do it now straight away after reading their response. And everytime I get best response in other's discussion, I do cherish them and do feel very happy about it. I feel like I got a perfect score in the exam LOL! happy posting *smile* ciao! c",)

Hi there, well i always waited for 1week for me to be able to see how many responses i've got in my discussion in a week. And then that's the time that ill mark the response as the best response if it's really solves or even considered as a good quality response for me. But sometimes, if my own discussions needed to be solved right away or even 2days, then that's the time ill marked the best response that i've got. Hi, I wait with this. I like a dialog with the friends, and if they do respond back after my responding their first respond than I mark the best respond. I think you want to start an discussion and you respond more than once to a discussion. Have a nice day

Hello aseretdd, When I don't feel like responding or posting a new discussion, or whenever I feel like moody, I will check all my discussion and choose the best response. I still have many unresolved discussions. I have limited time to be online nowadays and it is a bit hard to do everything once I log on here. I understand how you feel. Whenever my response being chosen as the best response, I will smile broadly. Sure, nobody knows or sees it but I just feel great!

I try to mark my best responses once a week! You are right it is a boast to the ego to have your response marked as best. It is important for all of us to remember to rate and mark our responses as often as possible. It takes a lot of time to read and rate every discussion but it is worth it for the Mylot community!

well i think i will mark best resopnse as soon as i can. well i dont have much discussions yet im new here. i will stll have to wait for people to post on my discussion that i just opened. well i think i will see if i will have difficulty to choose what to mark
