Were you able to escape from the September 11th 2001 attacks?

I do not know anyone from the September 11th attack but my mother's co-worker's son missed the attack because his alarm clock did not go off.

I had an on-line friend at the time who's husband was due to go into the buildings but the appointment was altered to a later date at the last minute.

Thank God for broken alarm clocks. He is very blessed to be here, I hope he realizes that. I did not lose anyone close to me. Nor do I know anyone who loss anyone. That was a very tragic event. The whole thing had a grip on my emotions for a very long time.

Wow, it sounds like that young man was very fortunate. It was not his time to die at all that day. Good for him. I thankfully live very far away from NY and Washington D.C. But, I do feel sorry for the ones that lost a member of their family.
