I am constantly trying to improve my health and in recent years have read so many positive things about the effects of green tea. From heart disease and cancer to weight loss. I have implemented green tea into my diet and daily drink two cups, I don't know if it is really helping but I do know it is not hurting

I tried so hard to "like" green tea because of the health benefits, but the taste is just not palatable to me, and I drink a lot of strange stuff that other people won't touch. Finally, we learned about Red Tea, also known as Roibus, which has a naturally sweet taste with no bitterness and, like green tea, no calories, but also has no tannin or caffeine. It is said to have up to 50 times more antioxidants than green tea, so this is what we drink at home. However, I want to applaud you for having implemented green tea into your diet. Surely it will help in many ways over time. I do brew green tea to use as a mouthwash, and also for putting on our skin if we have been out in the sun too long.

For real? Is it reasonably priced? And can you buy it at the regular grocery store? I'm willing to try anything to stay as healthy as possible.

Yes, although it was hard to find at first, the Red Tea is readily available now at most grocery stores and sells for well under $4/box online as well as at Walmart SuperStores. Our favorite is the Good Earth Cinnamon Apple Red Tea, but there are many other lovely red tea's as well and all are affordable. We haven't tried ZT yet, but they have a wonderful website, worth looking at if only for the slideshow: http://apps.getredtea.com/blog/index.php?content=detail&id=3

Oh boy, I found a pot of gold reading this post. I, too, was curious about green tea this week and went online to research the topic. I was intrigue with the health benefits that green tea is generating. This summer, my family drink Lipton green tea a lot, that was why I am curious to find out more.

Well like i said I drink my 2 cups a day and I can't say it's hurting me. and it really grows on you if you give it a chance. I am going to try the red tea though. I also drink the white tea sometimes, they say any tea has antioxidants in it. But green is what I've heard the most about so I usually always keep it in the house.

I totally agree. I have been drinking it about 10 years and have tried so many flavors caffienated and decaf that I can't imagine life with out it. I know one thing i am not over weight and i am disabled can't do near as many physical things as i would like to. i do exercise as much as I ma able but I like to think my diet is part of the reason I don't look too bad for an old broad. I too have some green tea lotion I also have some avocado oil lotion which i got through my website it's even better than the green tea I even use on my face as moisturizer because I like it so much if you're interested you can check my website http://scriptures.cc/111822

What I'm hearing is that small amounts of cold are okay, but not huge amounts, and not with fatty foods.
