Different races and cultures has varied view about Abortion.. Some countries permits abortion but majority do not allow.. What can you say about this?? There are many point of view about abortion... Let me hear from you.. Thank You! Please state your country upon replying..

Hi zexoel, I live in Canada, and here as other countries, people are divided on the question. I believe that abortion should be allowed, but not used as a form of birth control. Sometimes it is best for all concerned, then it should be done in a hospital, or recognized clinic. I find that if it is not permitted by law, it will be done anyway, and often under very unsanitary conditions, often causing unnecessary deaths, or other problems.

So you are saying that Abortion is prohibited in Canada?? Here, in the Philippines.. Abortion is not permitted.. it is illegal.. Isn't it that Abortion is a form of killing?? What can you say about it? Thank You..

I am PRO life.
What can I say about this will depend on the current situation of the cases. For medical, birth control and rape cases should be allowed.

We are living in the same country, you maybe aware of the rules and view of our country regarding this matter. We raised in a country which is a catholic country and religion is truly one of the important guide during our childhood. And me as an individual even if our country legalized the abortion I would probably stand on my own decision and views regarding this matter which is I am pro life. As I raised up and study in a catholic school I am very much against with the abortion. Killing innocent life is against God's law. Why you have to kill life when you are the one who brings that to your life? In order not to commit abortion be responsible, dont go into a situation that will lead you to that..

I'm pretty sure S.Clam has stated before that she has not had a termination.
An early, legal abortion is no more medically dangerous than having a tooth pulled. There is a small chance of reaction to the medication, as there is with any medication for any reason. And there is a small chance of infection, as there is with any medical procedure.
As far as more or less painful than giving birth, that's a crazy idea. Think about it logically. An early termination has no hard mass, no bones, and is so small it can fit into a deli cup. At birth a child weighs between 5 and 10 pounds, and is around 20"s long. It's head alone is the size of good sized melon. And although the bones are softer than they will grow to be, they are there & they are still hard masses. Of course pushing out a full term baby is going to be much more intense (to say the least) than having what amounts to a heavy period removed from your body.

I live in the US and I thank God that this country still gives women a right to choose. For the record, I am not pro abortion, I am pro choice. I believe in a woman's right to do what she wants to do with her body. I don't believe that any woman who does not want to carry an unwanted pregnancy should be forced to do so. I do not believe that a fetus is alive until after the point of viability. Most abortions are performed before this point. I would hate to live in a country where a woman could die for having a procedure done that is legal in most of the free world.

I am a Pro-Life advocate and I am against to abortion. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.

I am from philippines and our country prohibits and doesn't tolerate abortion.I am pro life of course! But it is easier said than done.
I admit I had adviced my friends and cousin to have their babies aborted that time when they got pregnant. They were still young and their not yet ready to have that responsibity. I know its a quick exit to a certain obligation and a quick solution to their problems. I know it was wrong and i admit i've commited a sin in there. But I prefer not listen to my conscience and ignore the feelings of guilts that haunts me.
But when im being ask on what side i am. I always say i am to pro-life, because that's what i believed is the right thing. Im just being hardheaded sometimes :)
