Apparently according to someone here; I took over a discussion (they may have even meant more than one). Hey if you all want me to shut up then say so here. IF enough people do want this; I may just leave cause I have enough cr*p in my life without being harassed here.

Please don't listen to anything like that! The reason we are here besides making money is to share in discussions and give our opinions. If you know who did it and even if you don't I would email admin. they are awesome in getting rid of trouble makers. I can't say anyone here has ever "taken over" a discussion and find that a ridiculous statement for anyone to make. Keep on posting and responding...I find what you have to say very interesting.

I'm not asking you to shut up. You have every right to state your opinion just as I or anyone else does so by all means tell it. But don't expect everyone to believe or agree. Geeze. I didn't mean to get you all upset over a discussion. I gave my opinion and that's all. Come on.

Yeah we're cool. Also you might want to read my new reply in the other discussion as I think I may have offended you there.

I have to say that I just spent the last half hour or so reading the discussion that you are talking about and I can't understand why they even said that you took over the discussion. There were a few other people on there that had just as much if not more to say about than you did. Maybe they just couldn't come up with any thing else to say in response.

As a person who started a discussion that took off like wildfire...I appreciate any and ALL responses and contributions to the discussion. I usually start a discussion just to get opinions or to see where it will go, but if someone like you is especially passionate about the subject...then I say Go For It! I don't mind, and I like seeing the discussion get a lot of play. Discuss away...and have fun!

I do not know which discussion you are referring to but I thought that the idea of a good discussion was to keep all the threads going with the different responses/comments. The originator of the discussion should be pleased that you showed so much interest in it.

Now I see your link to the discussion and I do not think you were doing anything but giving you opinion and I will also say that you were a lot politer than I would have been if someone had jumped on me like that.

I read the discussion too and I don't see where you were taking it over by any means. Some people just like to stir up trouble. Just ignore them and keep doing what you are doing.

Thank you. I have pm'd the original poster and asked if they felt I took over or if I upset them in any way. Trust me I was ready to have at them but that isn't my way (at least I try not to have it be my way)

You have just as much right to answer and take part in ALL discussions on here as anyone else. Matter of fact, I think mylot wants us to take an active part in answering and keeping threads from discussions going. That is how we learn more from these discussions. I think it is great when I start a discussion and then it stirs up everyone's interest and then I get all different responses. It's interesting and enjoyable. So you speak up and post anytime you want to. I'll stand up for you. Don't leave, you'll just be giving them what they want.

You can "take over" my discussions any day. I will not go read that one, because it was not one I wanted to post to anyway. I think you have done everything that could be expected of you, you pm'ed the originator, and as you can perhaps tell, your friends DO NOT want you to leave. We feel like you make excellent contributions to questions. As whiteheather said, the point of a forum is to post and discuss. Don't you dare leave.

Of course, there will always be different points of view and everyone is entitled to state their opinion, but a blank stating of opinions is not really a discussion. Therefore it is necessary to engage in reasoning. Some views will be exposed as false. Those that posted them will suffer injury to their pride and this may lead them to make unpleasant remarks. Thus it ever was; Socrates was killed by the Athenians for injuring their pride with reason. And how many times here do we see those that wield their words like weapons to strike back at those that challenge their views. So, stick around all the best urban
