for me i think its mental because if you have mental problem it could never be cured by a medicine, you need to be put on a rehabilitation center, and though you only have a little mental defects its hard to cure you know....

I suffer from schizoid affective disorder which is similar in nature to schizophrenia but, also includes a mood disorder. I have to see several care providers and have seen many different ones over the years. I have some physical problems also but, I think mental illness is worse because it's something you feel but, it cannot be seen usually. People don't have the same understanding of mental illness than they do say if you have a heart problem or some other physical problem.

Definitely, it is harder to heal a mental illness than the physical one. Obviously, physical illness or like when someone hits you and get bruises as result heals after few days. On the other hand, mental abuse or illness has a mark in the mind that results to psychological trauma, which is harder to heal and cure. Though both stays a mark on the victim.

Compared to mental illness, physical illness is a lot easier to deal with. Like certain physical illness, some(or maybe most) mental illness can only be treated, not cured. The difference is the stigma attached to mental illness. I don't think that is as bad as it used to be, but it could still be a lot better.
