I just watched it for the 3rd time and cried everytime i watched it.Its so romantic and sad together, when know the fate that these people faced and endured and for leonardo to give his life to kate in order for her to survive and go on living. Its one of my best alltime love storys. How did you feel when you were watching it and at the end when they were in the water together.Did it strike a core in your heart?

This movie is fantastic. I actually went to the cinema six times to watch this when it first came out! It still makes me cry when i watch it. It breaks my heart to think of all those people who actually did perish due to that tragic sinking all those years ago. The love story in the film just made it all the more sad.

Hi peanutjar! Yeah I have seen the movie too but only once. I do not like Movies with sad endings. I would not want a sad ending to my love story either.'Pretty Woman' and 'Pearl Harbour' are the sort of movies I like.

Yes, I did watch this movie. It's a good romantic movie I think. I like to watch love story movie and I think this one is one of my favorite movie so far. But I'm not a person that will watch movie again and again. One time I think it's enough for me since I don't really have a lot of time to watch. A busy mother with two little children.

The ending just pissed me off. There was plenty of room on that hunk of wood. There was no reason she couldn't have hauled him out of the water, and saved his life. Stupid woman...grr...every time I watch it, I hope the ending was different. ..LOL

I feel the same way. There was enough room for him to jump up there with her and then they would have both lived to tell the story. Either way I loved the movie though.

I watched it in the theater when it came out. I was just in junior high, and I thought it was alright. I haven't watched the whole thing since then. I just don't ever have enough time to watch it all the way through. I suppose I could have watched it all the way through a few years ago, before I got married and had my son, but it just didn't really seem like a movie I wanted to watch over and over again. I had friends that did, and my mom has watched it several times. I just couldn't get that into it.

I loved the movie. And the soundtrack. It's so much about romance and real love that it does touch your heart. I actually did the rewrite to my first book listening to the soundtrack. The instrumentals are fantastic and inspiring!

It definitely struck a core in my heart. I have watched that movie 10 times over now and I also own it, but everytime it plays on the movie channel, I'm the first one to crank it up and just get right into it. I almost feel like I am Kate Winslet or wish I was cause that Leonardo is just so adorable. I cry everytime I watch it as it really moves me. Another thing, everytime I hear the Titanic song come on the radio I vision Leonardo and the movie plays over in my head till the song is over. It's a very moving song as well!!! I absolutely love the movie Titanic!!!!

My wife and I did not care for this movie..we did not see it together..but we don't always agree on things..but we did on this movie.. i guess if was OK but the story of the Titanic has always been a mystery to me..I think that one of the richest men in the world (John Jacob Astor) could have used his great wealth to have the ships carpenters build some boats to get more people off of this sinking ship.. but.... the majority of the people thought the ship was "unsinkable" and put their faith in the works of the ship builders...thus about so many people drowned as there was so much faith that the ship was "unsinkable". Yes, it is nice to think about young love...but most ship board romances do not last...but this was a good fantasy.....

Well atleast you did agree on something like this.lol.I agree with you on what you said about building more boats and that alot of people back then never really thought a ship like this would ever sink.Unfortunately it did,due to the iceberg.:):)

I watched it more times than you did. What I liked best in that movie is the message that a person may grow old but her love for someone is still in her heart after all those years of the beloved's absence. Really great movie!!

I saw this movie some years ago when it was released. You make some good points about it, but I would like to suggest a more recent love story that makes Titanic look like a puppet show in comparison (not that there's anything wrong with puppet shows. I've seen some inspiring puppet shows in my time.) The movie is, of course, Napolean Dynamite. This is the most awesome love story every told. You can see the love that Napolean has for Pedro in every scene of the movie. It is the best all time love story every created, and when I watch it, and I get to the end, I weep for joy.
