What did you think of the NFL Deal or No Deal?

I watched the episode of Deal or No Deal the other night and I was on the edge of my seat. I absolutely could not believe that he didn't take the NFL package deal. If I was him I would have told my wife to put a cork in it. She said,"I just have one question, is that going to pay off out debts when we get home?" I would have told her,"we had the debt when we got here, we'll have it when we get home. This is a once in a lifetime package. You can't even buy those things in that package. I'm the one playing this game." She totally made me mad. Even though he took the deal for a hundred and something thousand, he still made a big mistake in my book. But of course that is just my opinion. What did you think about it?

I would have told her to shut up!!! 50 thousand would have been plenty to pay off what he needed. He looked really upset that he said no. I would have taken the deal!! It was a once in a life time thing!! Poor guy! If I was in his shoes I would have taken the deal..I mean come on..a new truck, nfl tickets and all that junk, plus 50 thousnd dollars!!! Hello...He was stupid!!

I totally agree. I was sitting on the edge of the couch yelling DEAL, DEAL, DEAL!!!!!But he just didn't listen. His wife looked like she could be a B.... anyway, so he may have been scared of her. lol. Even if he had won the million he still couldn't have bought some of the things in that package like throwing in the first ball at one of the games, and being the twelfth man on the team of his choice, and all of the other stuff. That was just unbelieveable that he didn't take it. I think every man I know would have taken it regardless how much debt he was in.

I wish you would have seen it. It was one of the best that I have seen. I don't get to watch it every time it comes on, but I was glad I did that night. It was totally awesome. Maybe they'll have a rerun of it sometime and you can catch it then. Thanks for your comment.

I watched this episode and loved it, especially seeing all the players there. I probably would have taken that deal as well as that is a dream package. That offer does not come around often, though had he went all the way and won the million dollars he could have bought numerous packages like that. I felt worse that he actually had the one million dollars in his case.

i know, it was really something that someone had actually picked the case that had the million in it. But you know what, I was thinking about this last night. There were signs that he had the million, I just wasn't paying that close of attention. They were putting so much drama into him taking the NFL package and every offer that came up after that Howie was putting so much into it trying to get him to take the offer. He usually doesn't do that. My aunt was telling me that the closer it got to the end she could tell he had the million by the way Howie was acting. I didn't pay that much attention to him. I was still shocked that the guy hadn't taken the package deal. Thanks for you comment.

I missed it when they announced who won the million dollars at home. I know it wasn't anywhere close to where I live, they hardly ever have any winners from down here in the south. There's no doubt that I would have taken the NFL deal and then later on I probably would have been wishing I had went for more money. Thanks for the comment.

i watch d.o.n.d.., on a regular basis but it peeves me that they never pay visits to the inner city when they have a live lucky case giveaway. they only go to surburban areas. i think it's bias and discriminatory. if they live in the subuebs they're pretty much all set with monetary issues besides taxes. they never even did it on fear factor either.

You know I felt the same way. When I used to watch Fear Factor, I would wonder why they never went to people's houses who might actually need that money if they won it. The people they went to probably had twice that much in their bank account. I barely make it paycheck to paycheck, so I know I could have used it. I haven't gotten to see any of the live lucky case giveaways but I imagine they were just like fear factor; beautiful houses, expensive cars, etc. The ones that live in the inner city or country (like me) are the main ones I think that watch those shows. Thank you for your comment, Jenaveev, i enjoyed it.
